Triskate skates or 3-wheel skates have already become an industry standard.
Their main advantage is that they can mount larger wheels but without increasing frame length. This gives them greater speed and rolling, but without losing maneuverability.
Both for urban, fitness and speed skating and for both adults and children, they are already one of the favorite options of thousands of skaters.
At Inercia we have one of the largest varieties of Triskate skates on the market!
Depends. In principle, 3-wheel triskate skates are usually higher than 4-wheel skates, so the beginner skater will feel somewhat more unstable. But, if it is hard boot skates that support the ankle well, that instability can be controlled in a few sessions. In short, they are not the ideal skates to start with, but with a little patience, they can be worth it.
Each type of skate has its advantages and disadvantages. The 4-wheelers are usually lower and more manageable, but we will notice the irregularities of the terrain more and the speed will be lower. With the triskate 3-wheel skates, we can roll faster and smoother.
Depending on the model, triskate 3-wheel skates may or may not have a standard brake. However, there are universal brakes on the market that can be adapted to practically any type of triskate skate.
The pioneer brand in 3-wheel triskate skates is undoubtedly Powerslide, despite the fact that today all quality skate brands usually have 3-wheel skate models for both children and adults. To name a few: Rollerblade, Flying Eagle, Fila, FR, Seba, etc.
